Kim is so nice, she gave Papi a journal to record his daily activities and adventures. This was a very nice gesture, and it makes me feel good knowing what his day was like since I'm at work for 8-10 hours a day. Yesterday was the first day, but her and Papi have this amazing kinship as if they've known each other for years. That makes me feel very happy and at ease. I, and my three dogs, have been clients of Dogs On The Run for 16 months and my dog care specialist Jenn, in specific, for the last 10 months. At the time of service inception I needed to find regular dog walking services for my kids with a dog walking service that I could trust and I felt would give similar love to my canine children that I provide. Dogs On The Run has provided these services to these standards- in fact have gone above and beyond my expectations. I have no reservations or concerns about my little guys care; my personal dog care professional, Jenn has earned my trust.

It is has not always been easy to leave my dogs when I do go to work, but I can go to work without worry that my dogs will be provided with excellent care and treated with the utmost love and attention while I are gone. I have found Jenn to be flexible and responsive to requests for, changes when I need to reschedule days. I can tell that Jenn sees this as more than just "business"- she brings true care and genuine concern for her clients to her job each day. For example, recently I had a conflict where I was going to be gone more that the usual hours of my workday and that would have left my little guys in a bind. On a very short notice, Jenn agreed to come in an extra time that day to make sure the kids got a break. I felt that she went the extra mile to provide the care she did that day and feel that many similar providers would not have done that.

I can feel that "care beyond money" on a regular basis when I come home and read the daily notes that she writes to me regarding the day she had with toy kids. She comments on their behavior and any concerns she might have noticed about them. For example, all my dogs are in the "senior" category and with that have some ailments that can come with senior doggie status (e.g. arthritis, digestive problems). She lets me know when she is concerned that one of the diggies might be having a rough day regarding one of these matters- and adjusts their activities according to how they are feeling. Quite frankly, I truly feel as if my dog walker loves my dogs as I do and that is such a godsend to me, relieves my mind of any worry so that I can concentrate on my task at hand at my work. I would highly recommend Jenn's services to any of my friends without reservation.

Karin Linderme is a wonderful, fun person--full of energy and happiness--she is a true dog lover. She is so good with my bulldog, Edgar. She goes that extra mile to take care of him and making me feel at ease when I am away. She got my dog to go down stairs (something I have been trying to do for a few months!)! She makes herself available on short notice when possible. I trust her and will recommend her to everyone I know who needs a pet sitter. She is a blessing, and Dogs On The Run is invaluable!'.

We were so pleased with the care La La gave to our old men (dogs). They are old and crabby and can be a handful, and I honestly don't think they missed us a bit. I was really impressed that she took notes on what was where, feeding instructions, etc. I have had babysitters for my kids that weren't as well-organized or prepared as she was. There will be a next time, especially since La La knows where all the treat jars are stashed! Thanks again for your service.

I have tried other dog walking services which did not end up working out. When I met Mirna and saw how she interacted with my dogs Lucy and Ricky, I knew it was a great match. She is wonderful and she is great with them and it is obvious in there behavior when I get home. Thank you!!

Abby rocks! My cat was super pleasant and relaxed when I got home. She had clean litter and plenty of food. My mind was at ease knowing Abby was caring for my cat. I have already referred her to a friend of mine.

Mike is just wonderful! I can now deal with the travel demands of my job (and maybe, in the future, even a vacation) with no stress because I know that Mike is taking care of Mandi and Prince as if he's their uncle.

I'd like to bring to your attention the great work done by my Dogs on the Run dog walker, Amy Araujo. When the recent fire storm hit San Diego I was traveling on the East Coast. Amy was scheduled to pick up my dog Chuck from the kennel and drop him off at my house on Monday, the day I was scheduled to arrive back in town. When my plane landed in San Diego on Monday afternoon, I found out that my home was under an evacuation order and that Chuck's kennel, located in Poway, was likely to be in danger as well. Amy had already made her way to the kennel, picked up Chuck, and brought him to her home. This freed me to make a quick dash into my house to pick up some gear and then evacuate to other quarters. Amy volunteered to keep Chuck overnight which made it much easier for me to find a place to stay and gave me confidence that Chuck was safe and well cared for. On Tuesday, when my area opened up, Amy dropped Chuck off at my house while I was at work so when I returned home that night he was waiting for me.

I am truly indebted to Amy for her help in what was a difficult time for everyone. If she were not willing to go above and beyond the call of duty, I would have had a much more difficult time upon my return to San Diego and subsequent evacuation.

We were deeply touched by your donation to the SD Humane Society in honor of our beloved Keela. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness ~~~ it was a comfort to us in our time of loss. We are also very grateful for the devoted and loving care Josh Wortman provided for our "baby" while we were away.

Abby provided great service and was very professional in all her dealings with us. Our cat, Kitty, took to her right away. We will now be able to travel knowing that Kitty is in good hands. We are new to town and had no idea who would take care of our cat while we traveled. Now we can leave home knowing that Kitty will be taken care of and will no longer have to worry about imposing on friends or relatives.

I wanted to tell you how impressed I continue to be with the folks at Dogs On The Run. We love Cindy, of course. Recently Kelly watched Bella while Cindy was on vacation. Kelly, likewise, was so nice. She ran into my son a few times when she was at my house getting Bella. He said she felt like his "BFF" now. She left the nicest note on her last day which included the cutest picture of Bella with her daughter. You've got a great team, April. I'm so glad I found you guys!

Melissa Monzet did an exceptional job. She knew our puppy was very timid and needed to be approached slowly. He warmed up to her quickly and adjusted well! Thanks.

We moved out of the area our previous pet sitter worked so we needed to find someone new.We were nervous about letting a new person into our home and responsible for the care of our animals. Lisa was fantastic, Gave us the phone followups we requested while out of town and took great care of our animals. We will definitely call her again.

I received regular text message updates about my little ones while I was away, which I really appreciated. They were so happy when I got home -- I could tell they were well taken care of while I was away!

It was a big step for me to change from the pet sitter we've had for almost ten years. We interviewed several companies and both of us felt yours was a good fit. But meeting Heike convinced us. She seems unflappable and really committed to her work. We couldn't be happier!

La La was fantastic. We were very pleased and would certainly use her again. She did everything that we specified and went above and beyond with her care.

It made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing we didn't have to worry that our pet sitter would flake out and not show up or not take the care with our little ones like we do (especially after that last sitter we had). I made contact with Dee very last minute. Not only did she come to my home the very next morning to meet my pups, but she was very friendly. She was also kind enough to update me via email while I was out of town as to the well being of my dogs. The only thing you could do to improve your service is to clone Dee a bunch of times.

I have to tell you that Dogs On The Run has been absolutely fabulous with my two pups and they just love seeing someone everyday!! DOTR is really reliable and we feel so comfortable leaving Lexi and Tucker with you during the day.

Melissa took great care of our dog Darby and our iguanas. We really appreciated her sensitivity to Darby since he has terrible separation anxiety when we are gone. We could tell that he was well taken care of and happy.

Josh is great! He has left me one note, just this past cat visit. He has a great personality and is available and reliable. Best of all, when you are talking to him, he gives you his total attention and makes you feel like you are the only customer for DOTR.

Knowing that my dogs were being well cared for last Tuesday when my Mother underwent a cardiac catheterization took a huge load off of my mind. After adopting Zyrus at 2 years old, it was obvious he no previous training, like starting from scratch. Zyrus and I worked with Mirna from the very basics to even some more advanced commands. Using the reward process with Zyrus has really paid off, he's like a different dog.

Heike was very thorough in her preparation for helping me with Scupper, and very prompt in our communication. I was extremely comfortable leaving him with her!

Monica did an excellent job, including having to give medicine to an uncooperative cat.

Whatever you and your staff are doing -- keep up the great work!! I was relaxed when we were on vacation knowing that Royal & Violet were in good hands!! Cindy sent me updates/e-mail and that really helped.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to have Melissa come to spend time with Bonnie tonight. It was a terrible day and night for me and the poor pooch suffered also. I just moved away from the San Diego area and am so sad, because my dog was so well taken care of by Karin. When I came home, he was chipper and energetic, which is unusual for him. He is usually mopey and depressed for days after having been left alone. I think Karin gave him better care than we could have!!!

We wanted to write you and share our experience with "Kat" Pennick during our recent vacation. We had to leave the country for a week and weren't sure whether to board our pug puppy Piggy or have a dog sitter come by. After going to a couple boarding places, we decided we should meet with a dog sitter. We searched Google and came across the sandiego.backpage.com for the San Diego Reader online. There you had an ad linking to your website. That was the initial good feeling we had - it's a really great website. Clean, great pictures, good layout, easy navigation. Being in the Internet business myself I was very impressed. So your service was already the front runner from all others. I think it was you who called us, and told us that Kat would be calling. Well - this is where the "very happy" comes in.

From the moment we met Kat we felt totally comfortable with her taking care of our dog. She was extremely professional, and we could immediately tell she was a natural pet person. Our dog took to her within seconds. Her thoroughness with the paperwork, making sure our needs were clear, and bonding great with Piggy was very comforting and sealed the deal. We were sold!

We had some unique requests and Kat went above and beyond all that was required to help us out during our trip, and we are extremely grateful. The end result is that we would gladly recommend Kat as a dog/pet sitter to anyone for any reason. Whether it's a short walk every once and a while or a 3 times a day visit for 8 days. We came back to find a relieved but very happy pug, all thanks to Kat.

I have to tell you, I too had a great feeling about Kat when I met her, and I am more impressed with her each and every day. Not only does she take excellent care of Saxon, my dog. But she is so great with communication. I have been working long hours lately and Kat has been great emailing me and leaving me notes at home about their walks. I feel like I am with them... She also appreciates all of the great qualities that I do in my little boy and makes certain to compliment him in her notes. I truly feel she is taking care of him just as I would. My dog is like my child and I do not trust him with just anyone...

My 2 cents, $17 for ½ hour is really cheap for the peace of mind it gives, and helping out so much. Id honestly say its worth $30.

I would like to thank and acknowledge Dogs On The Run for their excellent care and service provided for my two dachshunds, Jake and Zoe. Our dog Jake has suffered from severe back issues and this year lost the use of his hind legs. Jake has had two surgeries that have proven to be successful and he has regained the use of his hind legs. Dogs On The Run was a large contributor to Jakes quick healing and recovery, with providing daily physical therapy and in home care while he was recovering. Dogs On The Run provides more than a dog walking service. We were very worried that Jake would not walk again, but they were able to spend the time it took to work on his back legs per the doctors instructions. We were all so relieved when Jake regained feeling and started walking again.

Dogs on the Run is a wonderful business, and has proven to be invaluable to our family. The team members are very knowledgeable about animals and are natural care givers. My dogs are a very important part of my life more like family members than dogs. I highly recommend Dogs On The Run to anyone who wants the very best care for your pet.

I wanted to write in response to your recent letter to us following Josh's care for Riley during our honeymoon. It was great, and I just wanted to thank you and Dogs on the Run again for providing such excellent service to us since we started with you. It was so nice to be able to leave for an entire week and know that Riley would be in expert hands. Josh is wonderful with him, and we didn't worry once! It's been great having Josh come four times per week for Riley's lunchtime walks. Especially as he gets older, there are not many people we trust with his care-- not many people we are confident would know what to do if there were ever a problem (like Riley's back problems, and just "old dog" issues). Thank you so much. Our life, and Riley's, have vastly improved since meeting you and Josh!

I recently adopted two one-year old dogs from the shelter. As my husband and I both work, I was desperate to find a dog walker for my puppies during the day. I was lucky enough to be put in touch with Dogs on the Run and now my dogs get daily walks at lunch time. Our dog walker, Alma, is the best! I know I can count on her every day to make sure they get loves and walks they need. She knows Pet massage too, and absolutely spoils my boys! They get a walk in the neighborhood, or trip to the Dog Park, and she always leaves me a note on their walk and how they did... it makes leaving my boys at home so much easier! Let me start out by saying that our pup Charlie loves DOTR. They has been taking care of him since we rescued him from a shelter. Most recently, they came to my house for a week while I was working long hours. While on their walk one day, they found a tennis ball that Charlie absolutely loves. They even taught him how to fetch! Even better, they left notes at the end of each day to keep us informed of their daily activities. DOTR has been taking care of our two beagles, Sammy and Buddy, for 2 years now. They are always on time, always consistent with their care and the dogs love them. My husband and I are often gone for long weekends and extended business trips and we never have to worry about who will take care of Sammy and Buddy. They are professional but personable and I feel really cares for our dogs and gives them the love they deserve.
