This April, Dogs On The Run turns 23, and it’s a moment that invites us to pause, reflect, and celebrate just how far this journey has come.

What started as a simple idea rooted in a love for dogs and a desire to support pet parents has grown into something much bigger than we could have imagined. In the early days, it was about showing up, building trust one walk at a time, and creating meaningful connections with every client and every dog.

Over the years, that commitment never changed, but the impact did.

Today, Dogs On The Run is proud to work alongside more than 300 Pet Care Professionals across San Diego and North County, supporting a community of over 14,000 clients. Behind every walk, every visit, and every training session is a network of dedicated, compassionate professionals who truly care.

But what really happens behind the scenes is what makes this journey so special.

It’s the coordination, communication, and care that ensure every pet and every pet parent feels supported. It’s the systems we’ve built, the relationships we’ve nurtured, and the people who show up every single day ready to make a difference.
