Dogs On The Run Welcomes First SDSU Intern through border region talent pipeline program!

We’re proud to share some exciting news from the heart of our pack—Dogs On The Run has officially welcomed our first intern from San Diego State University, made possible through the Border Region Talent Pipeline K-16 Collaborative. Please join us in giving a warm, tail-wagging welcome to Sammy Roychoudhury, who is now part of our growing team!

The Border Region Talent Pipeline is an inspiring initiative that bridges education and workforce development across the San Diego and Imperial Valley regions. This K-16 Collaborative connects forward-thinking companies like ours with ambitious students who are ready to make an impact. We’re honored to be a participating employer in this powerful partnership that is cultivating the next generation of diverse, homegrown leaders.

Samuel, a standout student at SDSU, brings fresh insight, strategic curiosity, and a passion for ethical business practices. His role as a Business Development and Marketing Intern includes working on real-time campaigns, client engagement strategies, and identifying new ways to bring value to our communities—both human and canine.

“Being part of the Border Region Talent Pipeline has opened doors I didn’t know existed,” said Samuel. “Interning with Dogs On The Run allows me to apply my studies to meaningful work in a mission-driven company. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and full of heart.”
