Concierge Moment of the Month: The Vacation They Both Got to Enjoy

A recent guest staying at The Hotel Del Coronado discovered Dogs On The Run® through the hotel’s pet care services. While enjoying her Southern California vacation, she had plans to experience some of the area’s activities that weren’t dog-friendly. Rather than miss out or leave Lauryn alone, she reached out to the DOTR Concierge Team on a Saturday to see if we could help.

We went to work immediately.

Our team focused on finding the best independent Pet Care Professional match for Lauryn, not simply someone who was available. Once connected, her Pet Care Professional did not hesitate. At a moment’s notice, she was on her way to The Hotel Del Coronado to meet Lauryn and provide care that evening. She returned the following day as well, allowing Lauryn’s Pet Parent to enjoy her plans knowing her dog was comfortable, happy, and in good hands.

And Lauryn had quite the weekend herself.

Her Pet Care Professional shared that they had an amazing day together. Lauryn enjoyed a little cupcake, went out for lunch at a cute restaurant where she could sit outside, and became something of a local Coronado celebrity along the way. By the end of the visit, it was clear this wasn't simply a pet sitting appointment. It was a memorable experience for Lauryn, too.
