Coastal K9 x Dogs On The Run - A Shared Mission To Support Our Community

At Dogs On The Run®, we believe caring for dogs extends beyond the pets in our own homes. That’s why we’re proud to support organizations making a difference for dogs in need, including Coastal K9 German Shepherd Rescue of San Diego.

Coastal K9 is a volunteer-run, no-kill nonprofit dedicated to giving abandoned, neglected, abused, relinquished, and shelter German Shepherds a second chance. The organization provides the care these dogs need while working to find loving, permanent homes that are the right fit for each individual dog. Their mission also includes educating the community about German Shepherds, responsible dog ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering.

We were honored to support Coastal K9’s Unleash Summer! Summer Kickoff & Fundraiser on May 23, 2026, by donating a Dogs On The Run® gift certificate to the event raffle. The day brought together dogs, Pet Parents, businesses, volunteers, and supporters to raise critical funds and celebrate the community behind this important mission.

We’re grateful to have played a small part in supporting Coastal K9 and the second chances they create for German Shepherds in need.
