At Dogs On The Run®, exceptional pet care has always been about more than caring for pets. It’s about the people behind every visit, every match, every conversation, and every relationship built along the way.
As we begin November, a month often associated with gratitude, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the community that makes Dogs On The Run what it is today. From our independent Pet Care Professionals and the Pet Parents who place their trust in them to the dedicated team at HQ working behind the scenes, every person plays a meaningful role in the DOTR story.
The Pet Parents Who Put Their Trust in Us
Trust is at the center of every relationship we help create. When Pet Parents welcome a Pet Care Professional into their homes and entrust them with the care of a beloved family member, they are placing confidence in both the individual caregiver and the matching process that brought them together.
We’re thankful for every Pet Parent who chooses Dogs On The Run®, shares their needs and preferences with our Concierge team, communicates openly, and allows us to be part of their pet’s care journey.
Your feedback, questions, stories, and continued trust help shape the experience we provide. We know that inviting someone into your pet’s life is a meaningful decision, and we never take that trust for granted.
The Pet Care Professionals Who Make It Happen
At the heart of DOTR are our independent Pet Care Professionals. They bring their experience, knowledge, compassion, and individual approach to the pets and families they serve. They build relationships with Pet Parents, learn the little details that make each pet unique, and provide care that helps families feel more comfortable when they can’t be there themselves.
Our Pet Care Professionals also bring their own perspectives, strengths, and expertise to the community. Their commitment to their independent businesses and the relationships they build with the families they serve is an important part of what makes DOTR special.
We’re grateful for the care they provide, the knowledge they share, and the many ways they contribute to the community.
The HQ Team Behind the Scenes
While much of pet care happens in homes, on walks, and out in the community, there is a team working behind the scenes to help bring the pieces together.
Our HQ team helps guide Pet Parents through the process, coordinate introductions, support communication, manage administrative details, and offer assistance when questions or unexpected needs arise. Their work helps create a more connected experience for Pet Parents and independent Pet Care Professionals alike.
It takes thoughtful coordination, consistent communication, and a genuine commitment to helping people. We’re grateful for the care and attention our team brings to the details that make the DOTR experience possible.
A Community Built on Connection
What makes Dogs On The Run unique is not any one person or role. It’s the relationships between all of us.
It’s the Pet Care Professional who gets to know a pet’s routine, the Pet Parent who shares a thoughtful update, the HQ team member who helps work through a scheduling need, and the many small moments of communication and support that build confidence over time.
Each connection contributes to something bigger: a community centered on helping pets receive thoughtful care while giving the people who love them greater peace of mind.
Thank You for Being Part of Our Story
As we head into November, we’re reminded that a community doesn’t happen on its own. It grows through trust, collaboration, shared knowledge, and the people who show up for one another.
To our Pet Care Professionals, Pet Parents, and HQ team: thank you for being part of Dogs On The Run®. Thank you for the relationships you build, the care you contribute, and the many ways you help shape our community.
We’re grateful to be building this together, and we look forward to all that’s still ahead.
