Partnership Overview

Dogs On The Run is seeking experienced Pet Care Professionals to partner with our concierge network as independent contractors. This opportunity is designed for individuals who already provide pet care services or intend to operate as independent business owners and are seeking access to high quality clients, administrative support, and a professional referral network. Pet Care Professionals provide in home pet care services including dog walking, pet sitting, drop in visits, and related services while maintaining their own independent business operations.

This is not an employment position.

Independent Contractor Relationship

Pet Care Professionals in the Dogs On The Run network operate as independent business owners. DOTR provides client referrals, coordination support, and communication tools but does not direct or control how services are performed.

As an independent contractor, you maintain full control over your business, including:

• Your availability and service areas
• The services you choose to offer
• Which opportunities you accept or decline
• How services are delivered
• Your independent business practices

This partnership is best suited for experienced professionals who value autonomy while benefiting from a trusted concierge referral network.

Services Provided by Professionals

Professionals in the network commonly provide services such as:

• Dog walking
• Pet sitting and overnight care
• Drop in visits
• Pet transportation
• Boarding in their own home where permitted
• Specialty care for puppies, seniors, or pets with medical needs

Professional Expectations

Pet Care Professionals are trusted to deliver exceptional care and represent the high standards associated with the Dogs On The Run network.

Professionals are expected to:

• Provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care
• Follow client provided instructions and household protocols
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and the Concierge Team
• Provide visit updates, photos, and notes through the mobile app
• Maintain punctuality and reliability
• Exercise sound judgment and problem solving skills
• Conduct themselves professionally in private homes

Qualifications

• Prior paid experience providing pet care services
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and safe handling practices
• Ability to manage schedules and multiple visits effectively
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Professional references preferred
• Comfort using mobile applications for scheduling and visit updates

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Smartphone with internet access
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to obtain required business credentials where applicable, such as a business license and liability insurance
• Ability to operate independently and make responsible decisions
