A Morning We’ll Never Forget

The phone rang.

A client in Del Mar was calling in a panic. While a housecleaner was cleaning their a home near Del Mar Town Square, the front door had accidentally been left open.

The family’s English Cream Retriever was gone.

Busy street.
Near the beach.
Morning traffic starting to build.

For the Dogs On The Run Concierge Team, this is a 911 for a pet.

Within minutes our Lost Pet Protocol was activated.

📍 Photo located
📍 Missing pet flyers created
📍 Social alerts prepared
📍 Local search team forming
📍 Community notified

Our team moved fast, coordinating flyers, contacting local vets, activating search volunteers, and guiding everyone involved step-by-step.

Because when a pet goes missing, panic doesn’t help — protocol does.

And then, just 3 hours later…

The call came in.

The retriever had been found.

A Pet Parent and his pup reunited. ❤️🐾

Moments like this remind us why we built Dogs On The Run the way we did.

Not just pet care.

A community that shows up when it matters most.

Because every lost pet is someone’s family.
